If you have a student who will be 5 on or before September 1, 2026, they are eligible to attend kindergarten during the 2026-27 school year! Plan to attend kindergarten registration on either April 27 or May 4 between 2:30-4pm. If you have any questions please call the office at 435-528-7880.

We encourage parents NOT to request teachers for their children. If you have a valid concern, you may come to the office and fill out a teacher request form. Requests will not be accepted through e-mail. We consider many factors when placing children in a classroom including boy/girl ratio, academic levels, discipline issues, special needs and teacher insight. All requests are due on or before May 1, 2026. 

May Day will be held May 15, 2026 at 9:00am at the GVHS football field. You can watch May Day live or watch the recording later at teamhive.live. BUS TRANSPORTATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED TO OR FROM MAY DAY. Parents will be responsible for getting children to and home from May Day. Students and guests coming to watch should go straight to the football field- not the elementary. Teachers will meet students at the football field starting at 8:30am. If you arrive before 8:30am keep your student with you until your teacher arrives. Please pan to attend the entire program, it will be less than one hour.

RISE and all other year end testing runs from the end of March to the first of May. You can help your child be successful by making sure they are at school on time each day, get a good nights sleep and eat a healthy breakfast. Thank you for making attendance a priority and supporting your childs academic success!

Milk

Students can purchase milk cards or buy it individually.

Milk is $0.35 each or a milk card is $7 for 20 school milks.
